Filling out tax return forms is not an easy task, but it is an important part of your financial life. If you live in the United States, TurboTax is a great application designed to automatically fill out all the appropriate forms by processing information provided by the user via simple, to the point questions.

When you launch the TurboTax application you will be directed to the Easy Step wizard: here you must answer different types of questions organized by category.

First of all you must input you personal information about you and your family, such as you name and date of birth, where do you live, where have you filled your previous tax report and much more.

The next step is to provide details about your income and find possible deductions taking into account both federal and state tax laws. TurboTax will automatically download the tax criteria suitable for the state you are currently living in and helps you go through the entire process step by step.

In the Review tab you can view all the areas that have generated errors so you can easily go back and correct the mistakes. At the same time, in the Topic List panel you can visualize the subject list and quickly jump to a specific question.

If you press the Forms button placed in the top left corner of the TurboTax main window, you will be able to actually visualize the generated tax forms that you will send to the IRS. TurboTax offers you the possibility to actually send the tar return files within the application.

Take into account that you do not have to complete the entire process in a single session: you can save the document you are working on and work on it later. Moreover, you can also password protect it to make sure your information is stored in a secure manner.
