Monitoring the stock market development and analyzing the available data by generating various graphs is essential for making informed decisions. ChartMaestro is a macOS application designed to provide all the tools you need to perform these tasks.

Once you define the stock you are interested in, ChartMaestro will gather all available data from Yahoo Finance, so all you have to do is interpret the information. However, it is up to you to create smart lists and customizable charts.

Of course, this works only if the stock symbol is included in the Yahoo Finance database. To get started, extract the symbol from the Yahoo Finance website and add it to your list in the ChartMaestro window. ChartMaestro will extract all available historical stock data, allowing you to analyze the development of a certain company.

On top of the ChartMaestro main window you will find buttons for refreshing the stock data, access the manual, the app forum or the blog. You can reload the historical data.

The main area of the window is separated in two panels: the left side area provides access to all your symbols, the smart watchlists and the available function, while the section on the right displays stock info and colorful graphs.

By default, ChartMaestro comes with a handful of predefined watchlists: RSI < 30 (the Relative Strength Index has been less the 30 in the past 14 days), RSI > 70, %K 80, bull / bear movers (the stock has increased / decreased with 10% in the last 5 days) or  high / low volatility (the standard deviation has been greater / less than 10% / 1 % in the past 20 days).
