Abacus Accounts SE is able to deal with various expense / income categories, bank statements or monthly payments. However, if you need to calculate VAT amounts or deal with customer / supplier details, you should consider the Abacus Accounts app.
Instant overview on your financial situation
In the Abacus Accounts SE main window you can view all the income / income transaction, regardless of the bank account used to perform them. Using Abacus Accounts SE does not require prior bookkeeping knowledge: all you have to do is input your transactions by using the Income or Expense Buttons.
In addition, via the Company menu, Abacus Accounts SE allows you to quickly set up new bank accounts or edit the existing ones.
Since Abacus Accounts SE instantly calculates your balance, you will always have a clear view upon your financial situation. Moreover, the app is also able to generate reports which can be exported to PDF documents.
Manage your freelance operation
Abacus Accounts SE can be used successfully to make sense of your finances if you are a freelancer but you do not have to deal with paying taxes on each transaction and you do not need to manage large customer databases.
For your convenience, in the Company window, you get to set up a name, the financial year period, the closing date, the currency used and much more. On top of that, Abacus Accounts SE is able to reconcile your transactions with your bank statements and also enables you to set up regular payments.
