The VCE Player offers you the possibility to open VCE files on your Mac and take exams from the comfort of your own desktop. The app intends to be a port for the Visual CertExam Suite application, except you can only open and take the exams: you cannot create new ones.
VCE Player is fairly easy to use and comes with a simple and very organized interface: in the left side panel of the main window you can manage the VCE files, while on the right you can choose the exam you want to take.
In addition, you can choose to be quizzed only on certain subjects, you can select the questions you want to take and specify how many times you can retake a question that you have answered incorrectly. Moreover, you can set up a timer or choose to randomize questions and answers.
Each time you take a test, the app remembers you score and you will be able to analyze your progress in the completed panel, although you cannot export the results. Furthermore, VCE Player also keeps track 0f the exams that have been started but are not yet completed: you can easily start where you left off anytime you like.
To actually start an exam, after you made the necessary settings, make sure you press the “Take” button situated in the bottom area of the main window. VCE Player will immediately open the exam window where you are presented with the questions and the possible answers.
However, you can also press the “Answer” button and view the correct solution for the current problem. This is useful if you are simply studying, but keep in mind that it all depends on the quality of the VCE file content.
VCE Player is a simple application that enables you to open, browse and take exams from your Mac, without having to use a virtual machine.
