Typing Tournament is an educational application that will help you improve your typing capabilities. Designed as a game to keep you entertained, Typing Tournament takes you through a journey around 16 medieval environments, going from the Dragon’s Cave to the Throne Room.

For each location there are 4 new keys to learn, so you will be presented with a demonstration and different practice drills. When you are done, three typing games and a test to evaluate your progress await.

As a player, you must complete all the typing quests and go further until you consider yourself capable to challenge the Dark Typist. The ultimate goal is to defeat the dark lord and free the land from this tyrant.

Typing Tournament is suitable for users of all ages (6 years is the bottom limit) since it includes simple instructions that are easy to follow. The demonstrations will display the correct finger position and uses a color coded keyboard, while the story line and the interesting texts will keep you focused.

As far as content goes, Typing Tournament covers all the letters, the numbers and the punctuation signs. You get to practice different key paths, letter combinations and, due to the Multiple Progressions Model, you will improve both your familiarity with the keyboard and the muscle memory.

You get to track the progress of up to 10 users and you can easily export the statistics to a file or send them directly to the printer. This way, you get to analyze your improvements in comparison with the initially set up speed target.

At the same time, Typing Tournament measures your accuracy and separates the keys in two categories: mastered and “in progress” to let you know what you need to practice further.
