Typing Instructor for Kids Platinum is an engaging Mac OS X educational application designed to help children with ages between 6 and 12 learn how to type quickly. It comes with various games, activities and multiple difficulty levels. The app provides a kid-friendly interface and illustrations.

The application invites kids to Typer Island, a place filled with places to be discovered, such as a volcano, castle, lost city, mysterious cave, a ship, lagoon and more. Children will be able to play 30 challenging games in a specific order until they pass the castle and advance to the Lost City.

Both the English and Spanish languages are supported and you can start 10 different activities, called “typing plans”. In each plan, you can specify the known keys (main or numeric), skill level and choose a typing plan: learning the home row, upper row, playing games and more.
