OpenThesaurus German's dictionary content is based on the online dictionary www.openthesaurus.de by Daniel Naber.
The OpenThesaurus German dictionary thesaurus plugin will be installed for all users at: /Library/Dictionaries.
You can uninstall OpenThesaurus German by deleting "Thesaurus Deutsch.dictionary" from this folder.
You can search for all synonyms and not only the main word.
The search also shows esults for words in phrases or in hyphen-compound words (Dictionary normally searches at the beginning of a phrase).
As an added advantage, you don't need an internet connection while using OpenThesaurus German because the dictionary is included in the plugin.

What's new in OpenThesaurus German 2018.05.23:
- Updated the dictionary content to the OpenThesaurus database from 2018-05-22 with 131901 entries (previous version: 124237).
- Updated the website and the update in the plugin to use HTTPS.
- Removed ads and other tracking stuff from the website to meet the GDPR. The Paypal button is replaced by a link.
