SynMap is an OS X visual dictionary in which you will discover word meanings and their relations with other words in intuitive and interactive way.
Search for a word and SynMap will create a map of word meanings connected to other meanings and words via links that represent semantic relations such as synonyms, hypernyms and antonyms.
Meanings are represented as circles of four different colors corresponding to four parts of speech. When you move cursor above the circle SynMap will show the description and some examples. S
SynMap is powered by WordNet 3.0, 2006 Princeton University. Word maps are visualized using force-directed algorithm.
NOTE: To buy SynMap via the App Store, an Apple account is required.
