MegaMensuration is an application for teaching and learning of mensuration. Includes perimeter and area of rectangles, squares, parallelograms, triangles and trapeziums; circumference and area of circles; arc lengths and area of sectors; surface area and volume of prisms, cylinders, pyramids, cones and spheres.

Diagrams and animation help students learn the formulas better.

MegaMensuration can generate thousands of word problems on the topics included. Each problem is accompanied by a labelled diagram to help the student understand it more easily.

Students can choose sums from one or more topics at a time. They can, for example, do 2 sums on one topic and move on to do 3 sums on another topic and so on.
