Mathemagics is a comprehensive math application for OS X that will help you learn a variety of math tricks involving addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. It teaches you how to perform quick mental calculations and prepares you for your standardized math exams.

The application offers over 60 lessons where you are introduced to math tricks you did not know that existed. Once you learn them, you will hardly ever need a calculator to solve equations you would never have calculated in your mind before.

The other asset of the Mathemagics app is that you can take tests to reinforce what you have learned. In each test, you choose which lessons to be included, and an alternative option is to randomize each test. At the end of each test, statistics are displayed.

Mathemagics features a standard-looking user interface divided into the lessons and quiz sections. In the first, you can browse and access the lessons, which are sorted into categories (e.g. standard, turbo boost, divisibility, etc.) from a left sidebar. In addition to reading lessons, you can quickly practice theory in a separate tab.
