LovelyReader For Mac

LovelyReader is a free, easy-to-use and platform independent desktop application which enables you to open, organize and read books in the ePub format.

You will be able to view the ePub books you've opened in the library. Double clicking on each book will display its available chapters.

You can view the number of words, chapter number and title as well as the book's cover. If you click on a certain chapter, a separate window for reading the ePub will be displayed.

The reading window includes buttons to go up or down a page, but you can navigate through the book using the up and arrows keys as well. The upper toolbar also includes icons to increase or decrease the font size.

You can also access a tab for reading the ePub's notes and images. What's more, LovelyReader supports reading books in fullscreen mode as well. The app also comes with a built-in dictionary, but which might not work on 10.8 operating systems.

From the Preferences window, users can toggle an option to double click on a word to open it in the dictionary, to allow the auto-proceed option, display the paging indicator and the page border.
