HyperStudio Player For Mac

HyperStudio Player is a simple and straightforward Mac OS X application designed with one goal in mind: to play projects created with the HyperStudio application for creating digital content.

More specifically, the HyperStudio Player app enables you to run stacks which were made with HyperStudio version 3.3 or above. From the main window, users can easily open a stack by clicking on a big door button.

You can open any number of HyperStudio stacks you wish and save them under different names. Some navigational options are also available through the Go menu, such as back, forward, home, next / previous / first / last card, jump to card and the ability to start a slideshow.

However, the disadvantage of HyperStudio Player is that you cannot edit stacks. Only opening and navigation is supported. Moreover, the player offers various customization options in its Preferences window.

From the General tab of the preferences, you can set the app to automatically save stacks at a predefined interval, display the card number with stack name, play a card with one click instead of two or change the home stack location. In the next tab of the preferences you can select the preferred slideshow transition from over 50 effects, and the transition speed using a slider. What’s more, users can also set the default slide delay in seconds.
