Decoder For Mac

Decoder is intended to help you watch the DStv Mobile content which is broadcasted on a DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld) signal from your Mac’s desktop.

DStv Mobile is using the DVB-H technology to broadcasts video content live to different mobile devices. This standard is using a 320X240p resolution and the signal is similar to the one used by radios.

To actually view the data, you need to be in a DStv DVB-H coverage area and you need a Drifta mobile decoder. There are two types of Drifta decoders: Drifta Wi-Fi and Drifta USB. Note that the decoder must be activated by contacting the DStv customer service to work properly.

Connect the Drifta decoder device to your computer and then launch the Decoder application on your Mac: the app will detect the device and will upgrade the firmware if necessary.

If everything works properly, you will be able to browse the list of available TV stations and then easily watch the broadcast.
