LibXL is a library that will allow developers to create applications that read and write Excel files (xls) without Microsoft Excel.
LibXL works with large sheets and has a high performance: 2 100 000 cells per second for writing numbers and 240 000 cells per second for writing 8-character random strings (CPU 3.2 GHz).
Supports cell's formatting: alignments, borders, colors, fill patterns, fonts etc. Library can be used in C and C++. It's supplied as dynamic library and has 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Limitations in the unregistered version
- Will write banner in first row of each spreadsheet and it will be able to read only 100 cells (first row is unavailable)

- added Book::addPictureAsLink() method (xlsx)
- added Book::moveSheet() method
- improved speed of Sheet::setMerge() method (removed overlap checking)
