Wcode is an ideal widget making program for anyone who wants to make a widget no matter how skilled or unskilled they are. The easy to use two step template system will get you started in no time.

The template system starts you of with a working countdown, flash, RSS, search, or just plain double sided widget. The best part of the template system is that you can make your own templates and share them online. You can download templates that other more skilled widgeteers have made and put them to the test.

Making freshly template generated widgets your own is a synch. if you click on an image file and click on the image all you need to do is drag a new image over the existing one or paste a new image and it will replace the old one. Click through the side bar to find all of the code files you want to edit and sift through them with the quick find as you type search bar. You can also add files by dragging them into the list. There is no need to worry about messing with the property list file info.plist to figure out and set of the property keys because the info.plist file is automatically generated from a sheet of all the preferences you can choose from.

Preview a simple widget right inside Wcode instead of opening it in a web browser or press the save and run button to quickly load your widget in dashboard.
