Convert Script is a free and easy to use droplet that will help you convert scripts from the new format introduced in Panther (OS X 10.3.x) where the script is stored in the Data fork of the script file instead of the Resource Fork formerly used (since applescript was first introduced).

The new format causes problems for some applications, particularly Microsoft Entourage. The effect of the new format is that scripts run from Entourage's script menu cannot save script properties back to the script file.

By dropping files onto this converter droplet, the new format script files are converted into the older, more compatible format.
