Server Explorer is a useful and practical Mac OS X application that provides the required tools and features to configure Relativity Servers, develop and define schemas for your middle tier, browse and test data from DA DQL queries against custom Data Abstract Servers as well as Relativity Servers.

Thanks to Server Explorer you can monitor and manage all your Relativity Servers along with custom Data Abstract servers. Server Explorer is designed to automatically find and connect to Relativity instances detected on the local network. Server Explorer helps you set up connection to various remote servers that you want to control.

Hence, you can configure and administer Relativity Servers, setup database connections and domains, configure login providers and decide who can access your servers.

From Server Explorer’s main window you can also have a preview of your data from the tables provided by your servers and even run specific DA SQL queries against your data in order to test and debug your services.

Server Explorer also provides a Data Abstract Schema Modeler tools that enables you to design your middle tier, decide the tables that need to be available to your clients and generate abstractions between different database types or structures.

What is more, Server Explorer helps you create JavaScript scripts and shape your Relativity Server’s business logic using the Data Abstract’s Business Rules Scripting. You can use a wide variety of events from the Relativity Server and Data Abstract JavaScript API to create your own business rules,  run data manipulation and queries as part of the custom business logic.

If you need to inspect the data tables and explore the metadata and data contained by a .briefcase bundle or .datBriefcase file, you just have to double click the file.
