SQLight For Mac

SQLight is a straightforward SQLite database browser and editor designed from ground up to help you handle and query SQLite databases with ease.

SQLight comes with a minimalistic interface that enables you to easily focus on the previewed and edited data without going through complex and annoying menus in order to access the needed tool or feature.

The entire list of tables, views and indexes are displayed in the left panel while the right panel offers you all the tools and features you need to handle and edit the data.

Moreover, SQLight enables you to open and work with multiple databases at the same time using different tabs. Consequently, you can open a new database in a new tab with just a couple of mouse clicks.

On top of that, SQLight makes it easy for you to save any data, such as CHAR, TEXT, VARCHAR, INT and BLOB from SQLite databases via the handy contextual menu. This, combined with the intuitive keyboard shortcuts for data navigation and management, makes SQLight a reliable SQLite editor.

What is more, the SQLight app comes with a built-in search form that helps you find the desired information as soon as you start typing. The bottom toolbar also helps you add, edit or remove columns or rows  and save your changes.

Unfortunately, SQLight does not allow you to edit rows directly in the list view and opens the row you need to edit in a new panel. This might prove to be counter-productive for all users that need to keep an eye on the other rows.

On the bright side, the query function performed well during our testing and helped us retrieve the needed information from our SQLite databases quickly and easily.
