Nightcode is a streamlined macOS application that provides the required tools to develop and build Clojure and Java projects for desktop, web, iOS and Android platforms.

Nightcode comes as a standalone JAR file that can be easily run on your Mac as long as you have JDK 7 or later installed on your system.

Moreover, Nightcode integrates a copy of Leiningen, along with lein-cljsbuild, lein-droid, and lein-fruit plugins, fact that allows you to build and run your code with ease.

Thus, Nightcode comes as a powerful all-in-one solution for developers that use Clojure and Java to create new apps and utilities for multiple platforms.

To start creating a new project, you just have to provide a name and select one of the ten ready-made templates to get going.

Nightcode offers the Console, Game, IOS and Android templates in both Clojure and Java, as well as a desktop template that uses Seesaw, a graphic template based on Quil, a web template using ClojureScript, a database template using H2 and finally a sounds templates using Overtone.

What is more, Nightcode features a user-oriented interface that makes it easy for your to read your code and access the necessary tools. Nightcode allows you to summon numerous handy shortcut hints over evert applicable widget by simply holding the command key.

By holding the command key, you can browse through the project tree, expand or collapse directories and move between recent files. From the bottom right panel you have access to all Leiningen commands in order to run, build and test your project.

It is worth mentioning that you need to have Xcode, JDK, RoboVM in order to build iOS projects, while the creation of Android projects require presence of Android SDK.
