JAlphaNode is an open-source, Java-based lightweight clustered timer that is able to survive to node failures.
JAlphaNode implements a task scheduling mechanism that you can install on a number of inter-connected nodes.
JAlphaNode selects one node as master which can execute tasks, and, if it fails, another one is selected.
JAlphaNode is a cross-platform utility capable of running on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
