    HashIt is a free and no-frills OS X utility that will allow you to easily generate text hashes instantly, while typing.

    HashIt comes with support for the MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-256 hashing algorithms, and it can also automatically copy the hash to your pasteboard if you like.

    NOTE: To buy HashIt via the App Store an Apple account is required.
