    HaLoop description

    Framework that supports efficient iterative data processing on large commodity clusters

    HaLoop is a free and open-source variant of Apache's Hadoop MapReduce framework. HaLoop was designed to support iterative or recursive data analysis tasks like k-means clustering, PageRank, HITs and more.

    HaLoop caches loop-invariant data in order to solve nodes. It then reuses them across iterations.

    HaLoop is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X and Windows.
