Godot For Mac

Godot is an user friendly game engine that offers you the possibility to develop multi-platform 2D and 3D projects. The engine provides a plethora of efficient tools and a feature rich editor that can streamline the production process.

The Godot user interface is represented by two main panels: the Project Manager, where you can view, scan, import or create new projects, and the Editor that contains all the game development tools.

Godot offers you the possibility to integrate sprites, polygons, layers, particles, and other elements in order to create interesting 2D games. The engine provides support for using custom physics rules, and integrates powerful animation capabilities.

You can import realistic looking 3D models that have been created by using powerful apps, such as Maya, Blender, or Mac. Godot can work with different types of shapes, light types, or materials. What’s more, Godot can also be used to create user interfaces for controlling the games.

Noteworthy is that Godot comes with a built-in help area that includes info about the supported classes, and how can you use them. As a result, developing projects using the Godot game engine is fairly straightforward.

The Godot projects can be deployed on various platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, OS X, Linux, PNaCL, or Playstation. Support for more platforms is under development.
