Using Lorem Ipsum text while developing projects is a rather common practice, but random Latin text does not always look right. Glorium is a minimalist OS X app that can generate filler text that matches the context.

The Glorium user interface is represented by a status bar panel that can be activate or hidden by clicking the associated menulet.

The app does not come with any customization options: you cannot change the appearance in any way, you cannot use a hotkey to toggle the app's visibility, and if you resize the panel, it will go back to the default size when is hidden.

Within the Glorium panel, you get to see the complete list of topics supported by the app: art, business, cooking, design, education, literature, medicine, nature, science, sports or technology.

When you select a particular category, Glorium will automatically generate a random text of about 220 or so words, using terms related to that subject area. The Glorium algorithm creates text that sounds related to a particular field, but keep in mind there is no meaning behind the sentences structure.

To use the randomly generated text, just press the copy button and transfer the content to a third-party app of your choice with the help of the OS X clipboard. Glorium also comes with a regenerate button that can help you renew the random text with minimal effort.

Glorium offers you the option to replace random Latin text with equally random filler text that includes terminology suitable for the subject at hand. The ultimate goal is to give a more natural look to your projects, even in the design stage.
