GLSL Hacker is a free and platform independent application for developers and 3D artists to perform quick real-time 3D prototyping and coding.

Moreover, GLSL Hacker was written in popular standard languages such as Python, Lua and GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language).

To load and play a 3D scene (source code file) simply drag and drop it onto GLSL Hacker or load it.

GLSL Hacker is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. Binaries for the Windows and Linux platforms are available on the project's homepage.

  • Updated the PhysX 3 plugin (Windows, Linux and OS X) with latest PhysX SDK v3.3.2.
  • Added a new OBJ loader (for testing purposes) and a way to change current OBJ loader with gh_model.set_current_3d_obj_loader(name): ObjLoaderV1" or "ObjLoaderV2". Default is "ObjLoaderV1".
