EditorConfig is a very efficient tool that allows developers to create coding styles that can be applied to different IDEs or editors.

To use EditorConfig you must initially define a coding style and then use the appropriate text editor plugin to apply the file format.

EditorConfig offers plugins for the following editors: Code::Blocks, Emacs, Geany, Gedit, jEdit, Notepad++, Sublime Text 2, TextMate, Vim and Visual Studio.
