Chukwa is a free and cross-platform data collection system from Apache designed for monitoring large distributed systems.
Chukwa also provides a versatile toolset that enable you to monitor, display and analyze results of collected data.
Chukwa was created using Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) as well as the powerful Map/Reduce framework.

System requirements
- Java 1.6
- Maven 3.0.3 to build
- The back-end processing requires Hadoop 0.20.205.1+, HBase 0.90.4+, and Pig 0.9.1+.
