BoardForGitHub For Mac

BoardForGitHub is a small macOS application aimed at GitHub developers, but it can be used by anyone that needs to get a quick glance at a project page without wasting time navigating or cluttering the browser.

The BoardForGitHub app works with virtually any project page and automatically sends to the default web browser the links that are not compatible. The app also comes with keyboard support to make everything as streamlined as possible.

To start using the BoardForGitHub application, you need to provide the project URL: select the Open option from the File menu or click on the GitHub logo. BoardForGitHub will load the respective page right away, and you will be able to see all the columns with ease.

Note that the BoardForGitHub window can be easily resized or you can opt to switch to the full-screen mode. Moreover, you get to toggle the board window’s visibility with the help of a keyboard shortcut that can be recorded in the Settings window.

The same area offers you the possibility to toggle the vibrancy effect background view, but BoardForGitHub does not feature other customization options.

The BoardForGitHub app preserves the original project page design, which means that you still get access to the Filter cards function. Within the Menu panel, you get to review the project activity and description.

BoardForGitHub also includes hotkeys for reloading the board, going forward or backward, or setting the current board as default. Note that BoardForGitHub does not preserve the board between sessions, and will always go back to the default board on relaunch.

Last but not least, BoardForGitHub comes with support for the Touch bar, so you will be able to interact with the GitHub project page without having to memorize any hotkeys.
