CocoaPods is is an application level dependency manager specially made for Objective-C language as well as other languages that run on Objective-C runtime that feature a standard format for managing external libraries.
CocoaPods takes care of the source-based distribution of third-party code and automatic integration into Xcode projects.
Thanks to Copper you now have the option to install and uninstall pods available on CocoPods using just a couple of mouse clicks.
Narrow down your search results and filter the displayed pods
From Copper’s main window you can quickly search pods and discover pods that might complete your project. In addition, you can view the name, version, summary, description, supported platform, ARC requirement, homepage license and other related information about the selected pod.
It is worth mentioning that you are required to have CocoaPods installed on your Mac in order to successfully use Copper. Copper’s top toolbar helps you install CocoaPods directly from within the application if you don’t have it installed already.
On top of that, Copper helps you reload and update the pod list and view the entire log with little to no effort from your side. Moreover, the built-in search forms enables you to filter the displayed pods and find the pod you are looking for.
Looking forward for new features and improvements
Copper is currently under beta development and, as a result, many more features are expected to be implemented in future updates.
