Answers For Mac

Answers is a simple Mac OS X utility that makes the task of writing comprehensive help documents for your applications as easy as possible. The utility comes with a well structured user interface based on tabs, so you will find your way around in no time.

The Answers main window is separated on two main areas: from the left side of the window you can switch between all included tabs, while on the right you can visualize their tools and customization options.

Right off the bat, you get to edit the document’s landing page by using HTML code tags. The next step is to add the questions and their respective answers: the best part is that you can also organize them into different categories. Adding content to your document is quite intuitive.

Answers comes with a collection of 6 Help document themes, but you also have the possibility to add your own. The app also enables you to change general details about your project: you can setup an FAQ name, an author, add a small description, a copyright notice, or the link to the online version.

Once you are satisfied with the result, simply navigate to the Build panel, select an output file format, and press the “Build” button. Note that, by default, Answers is inserting “Made with Answers” links and messages within your document.

Answers is a great addition to your software collection if you need to write Help and FAQ  documents without wasting too much time: the app is focused on the included content, and allows you to switch to different themes with the press of a button.
