RemoteScripter allows you to remotely trigger FileMaker scripts on another computer. It can be triggered either by RemoteScripter running on a different computer, or by an HTTP URL.
You can safely use RemoteScripter for remote script execution within the Web Publishing Engine, which makes it an ideal way to trigger non web-compatible scripts on a separate script processing computer.
RemoteScripter also represents an excellent way to call scripts in your FileMaker solution in a FileMaker Web Viewer.
System requirements
Limitations in the unregistered version
- Will run for 2 hours every time you launch FileMaker / FileMaker Server / FileMaker Web Publishing Engine. The 2 hour time limit will reset every time you relaunch FileMaker.
