The NATO phonetic alphabet, also known as the NATO spelling alphabet, is the most widely used spelling alphabet. Basically it is used to spell a given word or sentence to avoid as much ambiguation in pronunciation of the word.
Phonetic is a simple Dashboard widget that provides easy access to the NATO spelling alphabet.
To install the Phonetic widget, when the download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
