Sports Fan Widget For Mac

The macOS Dashboard enables you to run various utilities in the background, in order to help you keep your desktop organized and clutter free: when you want to have access to the additional software, all you have to do is activate the Dashboard.

Sports Fan Widget is a minimalist widget that resides in your Dashboard, and provides up to date information about your favorite team’s performance. Simply select the team you want to monitor from the back of the widget, and the utility takes care of the rest.

The widget provides support for multiple sports, such as baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. At the same time, it can monitor teams from various leagues: MLB, NBA, WNBA, Men’s NCAA College, NFL, NHL, and so on.

Once you have provided the sport, the league, and the team’s name, in the Sports Fan Widget main window you will be able to see the day’s or week’s scoreboard, a quick overview for each game, or the upcoming events. Note that you can use the arrow buttons next to the date to go back and forward.

Moreover, the Sports Fan Widget changes the background image depending on the sport you choose, and also includes your team’s logo. At the same time, you can choose to see the standings statistics for various leagues (you can switch between them via a simple drop down menu).

Sports Fan Widget runs in your Dashboard and offers you the possibility to keep a close eye on your team without having to deal with complex tools or adjustments: the widget comes with an intuitive workflow, and will automatically update the data on its own as soon as you open your Dashboard.
