BBC Radio Widget 4.5
Effortless to install live stream playing widget featuring BBC radio stations
Like any other Mac Dashboard widget, BBC Radio Widget comes with a built-in installation mechanism, so all you have to do is double click on the .wdgt file (as long as the Gatekeeper settings do not interfere).
Once the BBC Radio Widget is added to your widgets collection you must choose the station you want to listen to from the back of the widget, via a simple drop down menu. Since BBC Radio Widget keeps the stations organized by type (local, regional, national) the menu navigation is quite straightforward.
Stylish radio player widget that can display the station schedule
The BBC Radio Widget small window comes with a button for starting and stopping the playback, and a simple slider bar for adjusting the volume level. In addition, you can open a drawer panel that displays the station’s schedule information.
Moreover, to make sure you always know what station you are listening to, the BBC Radio Widget main window also includes the station’s logo.
User friendly and efficient solution for listening the BBC radio stations from the comfort of your Dashboard
BBC Radio Widget is a great gadget to have around if you would like to listen to radio without cluttering your desktop. However, the widget does not work with the media keys, so you will have to go back to your Dashboard each time you want to change the station, pause the playback, and so on.
