If you need to measure internet traffic for any reason you will find this widget really helpful. It can precisely count bytes that have been sent to and from your ISP since the system start-up. It also shows current speed of internet usage and can be configured to show multiple traffic meters to monitor different network interfaces.

This widget doesn’t support counter-reset feature and can’t see difference between internet and local traffic — it just counts data size, that has been sent through network interface since system start-up.

If Traffic Meter widget don’t work properly, please email me and include a result of “netstat -ibn” command from your terminal in this message.
