    Link Converter Widget description

    LinkConverter - Converts Windows type links into Mac OS format and opens the linked file if you want.

    In a mixed Mac and Windows environment, you might receive e-mails from your Windows colleagues containing links to files that are located on a file server.

    Unfortunately, you cannot access these links on Mac OS X, even if the file server is mounted and fully functionally on your Mac. So I wrote this Dashboard widget that converts Windows type links into Mac OS format and opens the linked file if you want.
