Time Machine is a Dashboard widget that allows you to input any date past or future and it will tell you what day of the week it was or is on. The widget is very useful if you are planning trips or events, but it can also satisfy your curiosity by offering information like what day was the birth of Christ or exactly what day did WWII break out. You can find it all out here.
To install the Time Machine widget, when the download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
