Lightning Brain Text Exporter is an Adobe InDesign plug-in that allows users to export all the stories of an InDesign document into a single file.

Completely freeware for personal use.

LB TextExporter and APID ToolAssistant are both free. You don't need to purchase a license for APID ToolAssistant (but we're always grateful if you do - it helps us fund further development). The LB TextExporter Plug-In will work fine with an unlicensed APID ToolAssistant.

Here are some key features of "Lightning Brain Text Exporter":

· Support three different file formats: Rich Text Format, InDesign Tagged Text and Text.
· Export stories belonging to a specified range of pages.
· Allows exclusion of stories on master pages.
· Allows exclusion of stories on the pasteboard.
· Allows exclusion of stories based on their number of characters.
· Sort stories based on their position on the page.

Requirements:

· Adobe InDesign CS, CS2 or CS3.
· Before you can use the LB TextExporter Plug-In you also have to install our free APID ToolAssistant Plug-In, which is available as a second, separate download.

· TextExporter 2.1.0 did not allow story-by-story export in InDesign CS and CS2 – fixed now.
· Frame-by-frame export now also exports contents of anchored frames
· CS3 export sequence does not export in reverse order any more.
