Apple’s Calendar application is great if you need to keep track of your meetings and events, especially because it gives you the possibility to sync your schedule to different devices via iCloud.

Blotter intends to take things even further: the app will put all your calendar’s events on the desktop via a transparent, unobtrusive interface. Essentially, you can view your week’s schedule as an integrated part of your wallpaper.

This way, you get to plan your projects better and you always know what you have to do next. Blotter is intended to be a viewer for the Calendar content so all the schedule modifications will be automatically reflected on the desktop.

Blotter will also put an icon in the status bar menu through which you can easily access the app’s Preferences. The included customization options are related to the calendar layout, to the calendar viewing mode (you can choose to display the next 7 days instead of the current week), or you can easily set up your own keyboard combinations that will trigger different actions.

Blotter uses very few resources and is also able to work with Google Calendar. However, even though you can easily add events and reminders within the Blotter window you cannot modify previous entries. As a result, most of the schedule management has to be performed via the Calendar application.
