Tinderbox allows you to create, visualize, analyze and share notes. Tinderbox not only stores the data but also provides the tools to organize your ideas in a coherent manner.
The basic unit in Tinderbox is represented by notes and each entry must have a title, text and attributes. Before actually taking notes you must create a Tinderbox documents which is able to contain thousands of notes.
Notes are able to contain other notes so you have the possibility to set the arrange them in a hierarchy. A note that contains other notes is called a container. You could create chapters containing sections containing divisions; or topics containing subtopics; or any other hierarchy that fits your work.
Tinderbox can also create links between notes which will help you make connections between ideas, and to quickly move between linked notes. A link can lead from a note as a whole, or from selected text within a note (like linked text on the Web).
You can also create a link to a URL—an external document on the Internet. Following the link will open that location in your Web browser.
Limitations:
