SimpleMind For Mac

SimpleMind is a comprehensive mind mapping application for macOS, focused on creativity and on enabling you to efficiently use your Mac to record and organize ideas.

Despite the fact that on first view SimpleMind appears to be a little complicated with its many buttons displayed on the top Toolbar, it is a user-oriented and simple to use application: via the left side panel of the main window users can access the mind map’s structure, view, create and delete folders, while on the right side of the screen you can easily visualize and edit the mind map’s content.

For your convenience, SimpleMind comes with full support for drag-and-drop actions: change the mind map’s structure, undo and redo moves, adjust the topic width, add extra information to any topics by associating notes, create cross-links in order to connect different topics, and more.

Note that, in order to improve your overall experience, SimpleMind also comes with an automatic numbering system, a presentation mode, and a Search bar that can help you find certain mind map elements faster.

What’s more, in order to help you better organize your thoughts and ideas, SimpleMind enables you to arrange your mind maps in folders, to assign icons to topics, to create mind maps from the selected topics and branches, and so on. The app also provides a Navigation History, that provides quick access to recent documents.

Possibly the best thing about SimpleMind is that it enables users to store projects in the cloud, by using a Dropbox account: this way you can access the mind maps on all your devices, with minimal effort.

Moreover, also worth mentioning is the fact that SimpleMind offers support for exporting mind maps using the following file formats: PNG, PDF, HTML outline, Text outline, OPML, or Freemind format.
