STAMPTOOLS For Mac

STAMPTOOLS is a lightweight and no-frills OS X app that makes it quite easy to design your own stamps for marking financial and various other types of documents using your Mac.

The STAMPTOOLS as it is designed right now it’s a simple one trick pony that will only allow you to create circle styled stamps, with three fields that can be customized.

Once you decide if you want to make a stamp with a single or a double circle margin and choose the size of your stamp, you can go right to customizing the upper and lower text fields with the text you want to add onto the stamp image.

Moreover, both upper and lower text fields can be set to use any font you have installed on your system and, if needed, use different font sizes for each of them.

You can also adjust the middle date field using either the current date or a custom date that can be set manually. The date field allows you to choose from 6 different date formats and thus further customize the final look of your stamp.

The stamps you design using STAMPTOOLS can be used in any rich text compatible text editor or word processor by drag and dropping them within the document you want to stamp.

Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no way you can use your stamps on PDF documents which, although a limitation of the PDF reader apps we’ve tried, greatly reduces the possible business usage opportunities for the STAMPTOOLS app.

All things considered, the STAMPTOOLS utility does not provide you with enough ways to customize your stamps and the ones that you create have quite a limited scope of usage.
