Roadmap Planner For Mac

Roadmap Planner aims to bring simple and straightforward planning tools to your Mac and help you develop efficient strategies for reaching your goals.

This utility allows you to monitor multiple projects at the same time, to create connections between tasks, and to share your ideas with others in presentation mode.

To help you get started, Roadmap Planner provides a collection of predefined templates sporting different color themes. You can select one of them, or start your document from scratch.

Note that when you create a new project in the canvas area, Roadmap Planner automatically assigns a color, and all tasks associated with that project will use the same color.

In the Roadmap Planner project editing panel, you get to change the project's color theme in no time. The same area offers you the possibility to change the project's location in the Roadmap Planner hierarchy.

Nonetheless, Roadmap Planner does not provide support for customizing the canvas color, so if you want another background besides white, you must opt for one of the built-in templates.

Within the Roadmap Planner timeline, each task has its own representation, and the user can adjust the timeframe with simple drag and drop actions. It can create connections between various items with the same ease.

Once completed, you plans can be shared with your team members by activating the Roadmap Planner Presentation mode. You can zoom in or out to highlight certain aspects, but the lack of a simple selection tool might prove frustrating in some cases.

The Roadmap Planner app also allows you to add notes for each tasks, but it will not display them in presentation mode.

Moreover, Roadmap Planner plans can be saved using the proprietary file format, or you can choose to print them directly. Naturally, thanks to built-in OS X function, you can also export the plans to PDF documents if you don’t want to print them right away.

To sum up, Roadmap Planner brings to the table a versatile yet not very personalizable solution for creating project plans that takes into account the time required by each task, and the correlation between various jobs.
