Resume Builder is a self-explanatory Mac OS X application that makes it easy for your to create your curriculum vitae with just a few keystrokes and clicks of a mouse button.

Resume Builder comes with an intuitive interface from which you can mange, organize and edit multiple CVs and export them to PDF documents.

Thanks to the built-in search feature you can filter the displayed entries, sort them by data or name and order them in ascending or descending order. On top of that, Resume Builder helps you trash the ones you no longer need or want.

Resume Builder offers a small set of template sets that you can use to build up your resume and make it look better. It is worth mentioning that you are required to use the in-app purchase system in order to unlock and use new templates.

To build up your resume you need to provide detailed information about your objectives, experience, education, skills, contact data as well as references. All fields are pretty easy to fill in and your are given a restricted amount of space for each category.

Unfortunately, this means that your first and last name do not have to be longer than 10 characters and the email address must be shorter than 24 characters. This is a pretty big oversight for an application that aims to help you create a CV that you present to potential employers.

After filling in all the missing information, you ca instantly preview your curriculum vitae and export it to a PDF document to a location of your choice.

On the bad side, Resume Builder does not allow you to customize the used template or change the formatting and location of your text on the page. Consequently, you have limited possibilities when it comes to making an original or unique resume.

Hopefully future updates will bring new features, format and text editing tools as well as more customization options that would make Resume Builder worth the price.
