If you have allowed the application to have access to your Contacts lists, when you start typing a contact name, it will automatically search for it and display a top three match.

Once a call is made, Phone App will activate the FaceTime app on your Mac and you will be able to communicate with your loved ones with little to no effort on your behalf.
