PDF2Office Standard is a straightforward Mac OS X application that enables you to easily convert PDF documents into formats compatible with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The app keeps the same layout and formatting in the process and supports batch processing.

Working with PDF2Office Standard is a simple procedure, as the app’s workflow consists of a 3-step process. Moreover, the user interface is as plain as it can be and includes a toolbar at the top to add file / folders and the conversion buttons.

The first step consists of adding selected PDFs or entire folders by clicking a button and navigating to the files or by dragging and dropping the target files onto the user interface. What’s more, the path to the added file(s) is displayed.

In the second step, you can choose the output format: Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Text. More specifically, the app can convert to plaun text, 97 - 2003 and 2007 - 2011 Microsoft Office documents, such as DOC, DOCX, PPT and XLS. Finally, the 3rd step consists of choosing the output folder and clicking the Convert button.

Another advantage of using PDF2Office Standard is that the app creates editable Office documents and preserves the same content, formatting and layout. If a font is not available in a target document, you can define another one within the app.
