My Money for Mac
Keeping a close eye on your financial transactions is highly advisable, because it is the only way to have a clear view upon your current economical situation. My Money is a Mac app that can import your bank statements and enables you to analyze your spending patterns.
Noteworthy is that My Money comes with support for both double-entry and single-entry accounting methods. As a result, inexperienced users can simply record their transactions, while more advanced operators are able to create detailed records.
Colorful and organized user interface
The My Money main window is organized by using multiple tabs, and each one has a different background color to help you differentiate between them in no time. At the same time, the top toolbar provides buttons for basic actions: create new database, open an existing one, search transaction, visualize trends, or setup bank connection.
With a simple mouse click you can quickly switch to any of the included panels: checkbook, account manager, list manager (you can define different payees, financial institutions, transaction categories, and more), reports and charts, calendar, and portfolio manager.
Automatically import your bank statements
My Money is able to connect to your bank’s online service and can import your transactions details by employing the Open Financial Exchange (OFX) protocol. Keep in mind that your online banking account must support this protocol, and that some institutions might charge for the service.
The upside is that you do not have to waste time creating new transactions and providing all the details: simply import the info and start analyzing the data by making use of the over 30 built-in patterns included in the Reports and Charts panel.
Comprehensive financial analysis tool for your personal accounts
My Money enables you to record your financial transactions or import them directly from your online banking account, and then helps you analyze your spending patterns by applying various visualization methods.
Moreover, My Money is able to keep track of upcoming transfers, deposit or withdrawals, can store details about payees, transaction categories, or financial institutions, and is able to handle multiple accounts for the same user.
