MindNode is a very easy to use and free mindmapping software application. MindNode was created with the user in mind and features a very simple interface for quickly creating visual appealing mind maps.
Here are some key features of "MindNode":
· Node Well. New nodes are created by simply dragging them out of the node wells. There is no need to access the toolbar or the application menu.
· Clean Interface. The very simple and intutive user interface let's the user focus on finding and developing ideas. Nearly no time is required to learn the interface.
· Multiple MindMaps. The ability to create mutliple mind maps on one canvas, makes MindMap an ideal tool for brain storming sessions.

· Full Keyboard Support. Although MindNode really shows it's strenght when used with a mouse, nearly all interactions can be performed very easely with the keyboard.
· Build for Leopard. MindNode makes use of Quicklook, Spotlight and iChat Theater.
· No lock in. You can print, share and export your mind map as tiff or pdf.
· Expanding Canvas. The mind map is not restricted to the size of a page. The canvas resizes automatically in the background to fit the mind map.

· Fixed an issue that resulted in setting a stroke width to zero, which in turn caused a crash during selecting.
· Added a new user default to automatically inherit the style when reconnecting (MindNode Pro) or copying (MindNode and MindNode Pro). This key is hidden in this release and will be exposed in 1.5. Adding this key in this release will enable a graceful transition for existing users.
· Correctly reports an error when trying to load a document created with a newer version of the application. This change is also in preparation for 1.5.
· Fixes a problem with plain text export. Exported plain text documents will now load correctly in TextEdit.
· Significant performance improvement when saving large mind maps. Previously saving a large mind map could result in “beachballing”.
· Updated MindNode (touch) export format in preparation of the upcoming MindNode (touch) 1.2 update.
· Fixes errors in the documentation.
