Growl iCal is a free Mac Applescript deamon application that will read your iCal calendar and use Growl to notify you of upcoming events.

Bug: When Growl iCal sends a lot of notifications to Growl, some notifications will be lost. If you have a lot of events that need to be growled at one time, some will be lost.

Requirements:

· Growl
· Play Sound
· iCal

Limitations:

· Growl iCal will only process alarms that are set 7 days or less ahead of the event. This limitation can be changed by changing paramLookAheadDays, however the more days Growl iCal needs to search, the slower it gets.
· Growl iCal can miss alarms. In an [[always]] calendar, events created and occurring before the next rescan will be missed. An event set with an alarm, created and occurring before the next alarm check, its alarm will be growled but the event growl will be missed.
