Exportools Pro For Mac

Exportools Pro is a standalone application that comes with a companion QuarkXPress XTension and has been designed to help you export or extract the content of multiple InDesign or QuarkXPress files at the same time.

However, to be able to use its capabilities, you need to have the Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress applications installed on your system.

To start using the Exportools Pro app, you need to load the files you want to process with simple drag and drop actions. For your convenience, Exportools Pro allows you to set watched folders which will be scanned for new documents periodically.

The next step is to select the task you want to perform: Export to PDF, Export to PostScript, Export to Images, Print Directly to Printer, Extract Text and Pictures, Split or Merge documents, or Preflight.

Take into consideration that each task comes with its customization options, but some functions are universal, such as the possibility to change the default output folder, creating custom file naming patterns, or saving configuration presets.

Exportools Pro offers you the possibility to use the same configuration on multiple files, and you get to track everything thanks to the various event logging panels: Document History, Preflight Log, or Batch Log.

Given the extensive customization options, Exportools Pro can be used to export only certain sections or pages to other file formats, or you can send them to the printer straight away.

Similarly, you get to split files into single or multi-page documents, while also being able to put different items together without losing the original formatting. The Exportools Pro utility also gives you the option to extract only the text content.

Exportools Pro offers you the possibility to analyze InDesign and QuarkXPress documents and evaluate if there are any issues with the text or graphic content if there are any fonts missing, or the included images have a low resolution.

Exportools Pro is able to handle batch processing tasks, such as exporting the files to other formats, splitting or merging documents, or extracting text or image data.
